Director Priest
Fr. Daniel is a Orange county native. Raised in the city of La Palma and attended Korean Martyrs Catholic Center in Westminster, CA. He attended public schools throughout his adolescence. While attending UC Irvine and actively facilitating a Korean Catholic campus ministry called Kyrie Eleison, he received a calling from the Lord to the priesthood. Responding to the Lord's promptings, he entered St. John's Seminary in Camarillo, CA and was ordained a ministerial priest for the Diocese of Orange in 2019. He served as a parochial vicar at Holy Family Catholic Church in Orange, CA from 2019-2021 and has been assigned the Director priest for Our Lady of Peace Korean Catholic Center from July 2021 until present.
Deacon
Born into a non-catholic family and raised in Seoul Hyehwa-dong where Catholic University is located. Baptized to marry into a Roman Catholic family while serving in the armed service. Spiritual journey was punctuated when we had received Spiritual Exercises, which led him into Diaconate vocation. After about 5 years of preparation, education, and training, was ordained in 2007 into Diaconate and double assigned to Korean Martyrs and Korean catholic community at St Elizabeth. In 2008, assignment was changed solely to Irvine Korean catholic community where he has remained since then.
Sister
Sister Enoch Kim is a sister from the Congregation of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in South Korea. During her undergraduate studies, she discovered our Lord and grew in relationship with Him during her young adult years. At the age of 27, she had a powerful conviction to follow Him as a religious sister. She joined the congregation in 1996 and spent much of her formation in South Korea but also spent some time in the United States. In 2006, She made her final vows in the Mother House of Sungbukgu District, Seoul. As a fully professed sister, she went back and forth between Seoul, Busan, Incheon, and the western United States. In 2019, she served for three years at St. Basil's Korean Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. On July 1, 2022, she received her assignment to Our Lady of Peace Korean Catholic Church in the Diocese of Orange. Since then, she served part-time until the end of 2022 and serves full-time as of 2023.
